- Great action, great plot, with slightly disappointing voice-acting for the character of Batman. Review by Amanda
The brilliant thing about the Batman system of combat is that it can be fresh and different each time, depending on the approach you take. You can do things stealthily, leave a few traps, glide or drop down to enemy's to take them out. And even in regular hand-to-hand combat, one must always be on their guard to counter and watch out for take-down opportunities.
Another outstanding part of the game was the Riddler trophies and riddles. They challenge you to use Batman's tools creatively, and to fully explore each area to the fullest, a truly brilliant bit on the part of the developers.
One of the only detractors from the game's quality would be the voice-acting, mainly for Batman himself. It can seem expressionless, which can actually distract from character conversations. But all in all, this game was dark and exciting, and I'd definitely recommend it. (Posted on 4/29/14)
