- Great for some reasons, though flawed in others. Review by Amanda
The characters are all varied and different, and their weapons and special skills/magical powers reflect this, and they've all got unlockable bios that reveal their unique backgrounds.
I also really enjoy the boss battles, the enemies are different and interesting in their own rights, another point for the writers and developers.
Unfortunately, there are undeniable issues with gameplay, and the characters can sometimes be ridiculously easily killed when cornered, making battles difficult, as you've got to split your time between killing numerous enemies and healing your team members.
This game has undoubtedly got its flaws, which is why I give it only a rating of 3 stars, but it remains one of my all-time favorites for its engaging, interesting plot, and well thought out characters and back-stories. If there were ever a sequal made, I would be first in line. (Posted on 4/29/14)
